Three ways into Puri
By Air
- Puri has no airport of its own — the nearest is Bhubaneswar (BBI), Biju Patnaik International Airport.
- Bhubaneswar is roughly 60 km / 1.5–2 hours from Puri by road.
- It's connected to major Indian cities and several international hubs.
By Train
- Puri Railway Station sits right in the town, just 2–3 km from the temple.
- It's well connected to Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bhubaneswar.
- Trains from Bhubaneswar take about an hour, including the fast Shatabdi Express.
By Road
- Bhubaneswar — 60 km (1.5–2 hrs) via NH316
- Konark — ~35 km (45–60 min) via the scenic Marine Drive
- Chilika Lake — ~50 km (1.5 hrs)
- Raghurajpur — ~10 km (20–30 min)
