A different kind of yatra

Why families choose a private yatra.

The destinations are the same. What changes is how the journey feels, from the first morning to the last evening.

A typical group package

  • An itinerary set for the whole group
  • Shared vehicles and fixed timings
  • Hotels chosen to suit a group budget
  • You coordinate changes and details yourself

Your private yatra

  • An itinerary designed around your family
  • Private vehicle and driver throughout
  • Premium hotels for proper rest
  • One Yatra Manager coordinates everything
A word on honesty. Premium arrangements make the journey far more comfortable, but they cannot change temple rules, weather or crowd conditions, which apply to every pilgrim. That is exactly why careful planning and an experienced manager matter so much.
Common questions

Private Char Dham Yatra: your questions answered.

What is a private Bada Char Dham Yatra?

A private Bada Char Dham Yatra takes your family to Puri, Rameshwaram, Dwarka and Badrinath on an itinerary designed only for you. It uses private transport, premium hotels and a dedicated Yatra Manager, instead of a fixed-date group tour.

What is included in a private Char Dham package?

Your private yatra includes 4 and 5-star premium stays, private luxury cars, express or VIP darshan tickets, domestic flights handled for you, a trip manager on call, special puja rituals, and senior-friendly and family-friendly planning. Your final inclusions are confirmed in your personalised quote.

How much does a private Char Dham yatra cost?

Packages start from Rs 90,000 per family per dham. The final quote depends on your travel dates, hotels, flights and group size. Transparent pricing. You can request a personalised itinerary on our Itinerary & Quote page.

Is VIP darshan guaranteed?

Express and VIP darshan tickets are part of our premium packages, but darshan timings and access are decided by each temple and can change during festivals and peak crowds. Your Yatra Manager plans around these conditions.

Can elderly parents join a private Char Dham yatra?

Yes. A private yatra lets you set a gentler pace, with assistance and rest built in. Badrinath is the highest-altitude and most demanding leg. For very senior travellers (75+) or those with limited mobility, travelling with family or a caring group is strongly advisable. See our guide to the Bada Char Dham Yatra for parents and senior citizens.

In which order should we visit the four Dhams?

There is no fixed order in the scriptures, so families choose what suits them. Many pilgrims from South India start with Rameshwaram and Dwarka, while many from the North begin with Badrinath, Dwarka and Puri. Completing the yatra matters more than the sequence, and your Yatra Manager plans the order around your dates and comfort.

What is the best time of day for darshan?

Early morning, between about 5 and 7 AM, is generally preferred, before large crowds build up.

What ID do we need to carry?

An Aadhaar card is needed at all four Dhams. Carry photocopies as well.
