After a nourishing lunch in Madurai — a city old enough to remember when temples were the tallest things in the world — begin the road journey toward Rameshwaram.

And then — 🌉 the Pamban Bridge. Iron and faith stretched over a shimmering sea. Arabian Sea to your left. Indian Ocean to your right. The sky vast above. Roll down the window. Let the salt wind take you. This crossing is the beginning of everything.

The Corridors of Eternity

Wake to the morning of Rameshwaram — soft, luminous, thick with the presence of something that has been prayed to for centuries. Enter the Ramanathaswamy Temple — one of the twelve Jyotirlingas, a flame of Shiva that burns not in fire, but in the eternal devotion of all who have ever stood here.

Walk the corridors slowly. Every carved pillar holds a century. Here, Lord Rama himself knelt. The God who moved seas paused here and prayed. What is there left for us to carry into this place except humility, and the willingness to be made new.

The 22 Sacred Theerthams await — holy wells, each carrying its own blessing. Bathe in their waters or simply sprinkle the holy water. Let them wash away the unseen weariness accumulated across lifetimes.

Then — 🌊 Dhanushkodi: where India ends, and the sea takes everything. The very tip of the land, where the Bay of Bengal and Indian Ocean swirl together. Stand here quietly. The wind carries something that cannot be named, only felt.

An evening flight from Madurai brings you to Mumbai — the city of a million pilgrimages, each person carrying their own invisible longing.

Turning Toward Krishna
